Mecwin Technologies is looking for a highly driven and result-oriented Sales Manager to build and grow business for electric motor solutions in the Off-Highway, Material Handling and Agri Equipment segments.
This is a challenging role for a person who can go to the market, identify the right customers, understand their applications, bring enquiries, coordinate with Mecwin’s NPD and manufacturing teams, convert opportunities into orders, and handhold customers until successful product supply and performance satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and develop customers in off-highway vehicles, material handling equipment, agri equipment and allied industries.
· Generate qualified leads through market visits, industry contacts, online platforms, exhibitions, referrals and digital sources.
· Understand customer applications and propose suitable motor solutions from Mecwin’s product capabilities.
· Coordinate with Mecwin’s NPD, design, costing, production and quality teams to develop customer-specific motor solutions.
· Get enquiries, prepare inputs for costing, support techno-commercial proposals and close orders.
· Onboard new customers and build long-term business relationships.
· Follow up continuously with customers for technical queries, commercial discussions, samples, trials and approvals.
· Support customers during product development, testing, validation and production supply.
· Take complete ownership of sales targets, customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
· Travel regularly for customer meetings, business development and project follow-ups.
Revenue Responsibility
The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving a revenue target of ₹15 Crores in FY 2026–27 from customers in:
· Off-Highway Equipment
· Material Handling Equipment
· Agri Equipment
Candidate Requirements
· 6–8 years of go-to-market sales experience in engineered products.
· Must understand technical / engineered products and customer application requirements.
· Experience in motors, drives, EV components, industrial products, machinery, automation, hydraulics, powertrain or equipment components will be preferred.
· Strong ability to approach new customers and present solutions confidently.
· Must be capable of generating leads from multiple platforms and converting them into business.
· Excellent communication, follow-up, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
· Must be 100% result-oriented and target-driven.
· Must be willing to travel extensively for sales.
· Must be ready to relocate to Bengaluru.
· Must be ready to work in a startup culture with high accountability.
· Must be comfortable working under a fixed + variable salary structure.
· No work from home.
