The Opportunity
This position will be a temporary, fixed term 12-month position supporting our Hermès Sydney Trust Flagship Boutique.
The Hermès Sydney Trust Boutique focuses on providing extraordinary service to all clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team as a Sales Associate within the Hermès Maison and work collaboratively to support the client experience in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience:
Strives to provides exceptional client experience in line with the Sales & Service Ambassador guidelines and benchmarks to every client in Hermès
Practices the Orange Box Ceremony and Hand Rituals
Clientele with current and potential clients to establish and maintain client relationships
Handle complex client experience concerns and issues, i.e. dissatisfied customers, exchanges, returns, after-sales according to the Store Notebook
Offer exceptional aftersales experience to all clients with assessment of repairs and accurate completion of relevant forms
Capture accurate and relevant information through POS and CRM systems
Communicates feedback gathered through in-store activities to store management
Utilise professional and elegant dialogue with clients and team members
Being a proactive Ambassador for assigned métier
Meticulous visual merchandising and housekeeping of retail floor areas
Clean, tidy and logical BOH stock areas – ensure stock is easy to find
Understanding and sharing of métier performance
Accurate mini count/ stock take results
Sharing of key information about the métier
Training and sharing on new product launches, particularly for new joiners
Sharing and being an expert on care and aftersales
Demonstrate and encourage team to master the Métier Hand Rituals
Positive teamwork and provides support or their Ambassadorship

Adheres to all the Hermès Australia Personal Etiquette and representations guidelines with elegance
Positively contributes to the Hermès workplace through proactive teamwork
Be an effective and supportive team player to the whole team
About you:
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Availability to work within a 7-day roster including weekends.
A strong background in customer service and/or sales. Experience in a luxury environment is advantageous.
A team player attitude and the ability to embody the values of the Hermès Maison.
Excellent relationship development skills with impeccable interpersonal and communication skills.
Display a high standard of presentation and grooming.
A passion for our creations and the craft and identity of our Maison with a comprehensive product knowledge in Hermès Métiers.
A positive, proactive, efficient and client focused attitude.
A strong sense of time management with the ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise.
The ability to achieve personal targets and quickly adapt to an ever-evolving, rapid moving retail environment whilst maintaining professionalism.
The ability to work independently while balancing collaboration with a team.
