About the Role
We are looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer – L1 to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in network monitoring, routing & switching, SD-WAN, incident management, and network support while ensuring maximum uptime and SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor enterprise network infrastructure, WAN links, routers, switches, and SD-WAN environments.
Perform remote monitoring and provide first-level troubleshooting for network incidents.
Configure and support routers, switches, and SD-WAN devices at branch locations.
Monitor network performance and ensure availability of critical links across DC/DR and branch offices.
Log, track, and manage incidents using ticketing tools while ensuring SLA compliance.
Coordinate with field engineers, vendors, and internal support teams for timely issue resolution.
Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams as required.
Perform scheduled configuration changes and maintain SOP documentation.
Conduct periodic device backups and preventive maintenance activities.
Generate operational reports and monitor network health using NMS tools.
Coordinate hardware replacement with AMC partners and vendors.
Support network changes and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification
Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
CCNA or equivalent networking certification preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Network Monitoring, NOC Operations, or Network Support.
Experience with SD-WAN, Routing & Switching, and Enterprise Network Infrastructure.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
Experience with Routing, Switching, and SD-WAN technologies.
Understanding of routing protocols and network troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with NMS and ticketing tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work in a 24×7 operational support environment.
