The Repair Tech Tier 1 is an in-office position responsible for handling all assigned electronic device repairs with excellent attention to detail while ensuring quality. The individual in this position will be familiar with electronic device repair, have a general understanding of computer hardware, have outstanding customer service, experience with typing, and have the ability to work with small parts. The Repair Tech Tier 1 will report directly to the Services Manager and work closely with other technicians to ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience repairing devices such as Chromebooks & Apple Products
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: Onsite in Fortville, Indiana
Fundamental Goals and Responsibilities:
Learns how to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair devices as they are received
Ensures all repairs are completed in a timely manner
Delivers excellent communication and customer service
Owns the cleanliness of their workspace and the accuracy of their repairs and associated communications
Develops the skills necessary to be promoted to Tier 2
Supports Operations when needed (including Processing, Fulfillment, and Inventory)
Objectives for the First 90 Days:
Learns how to make quality and efficient repairs to iPads, Chromebooks, and MacBooks
Maintains accurate and clear communication in detailed diagnostic reports for all assigned devices
Collaborates with other technicians to learn, and eventually develop, the most efficient and effective methods for quality device repairs
Objectives for the First 6 Months:
Continued improvement in the Objectives for the First 90 Days
Regularly hits and exceeds repair goals and targets
Begins soldering training
Develops unique ideas to improve the repair process
