As a Roofer, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and durability of roofs while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, and tiles.
Inspect roofs for damage or leaks and provide recommendations for repairs.
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing of roofs.
Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and handymen to complete projects efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and equipment on-site.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
Skills

Proficiency in caulking techniques and application methods.
Experience as a maintenance person or carpenter is highly desirable.
Ability to build structures as required for roofing projects.
Familiarity with hand tools used in roofing tasks, including hammers, saws, and drills.
Strong blueprint reading skills to accurately follow project plans.
Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
