Robotic Weld Technician / Advanced Welder
Shelbyville, KY
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Openings
$24.00–$27.50/hour
Temp-to-Hire
Crown Staffing is hiring Robotic Weld Technicians for a manufacturing facility in Shelbyville, KY.
This is not a basic production welding role. This position is best suited for someone with strong welding or manufacturing experience who is comfortable working with robotic welding equipment, fixtures, tooling, jigs, sensors, and weld cells.
The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting robotic welding equipment in a manufacturing environment.
What you’ll do
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment
Make fixture, tooling, datum, jig, and sensor adjustments
Assist with robotic weld cell changes and process improvements
Perform preventative maintenance on robotic welding equipment
Support GMAW / MIG welding operations
Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents
Help train operators on robotic welding processes
Complete required production and quality documentation
What we’re looking for
High school diploma or GED required
1–3 years of welding, manufacturing, robotic welding, or related experience
Experience with robotic welding equipment strongly preferred
Experience with jigs, fixtures, tooling, sensors, or weld cells preferred
Gas Metal Arc Welding / GMAW / MIG welding experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Basic computer skills
