Key Responsibilities
• Lead the Infrastructure Function for RFT which includes open systems, SAP and the Oracle estate across different data centers
• Engage and work with RFT management to define the overall CTO strategy for RFT
• Responsible for infrastructure roadmaps for RFT applications including migration to public cloud
• Strengthen and run existing forums to drive Infrastructure optimization strategies for RFT
• Ensure compliance with central Technology Roadmaps for CIO Finance
• Engage with central CTO teams to provide input into enterprise wide strategies across infrastructure
• Architect the road map for migration of applications to Google Cloud Platform under different models viz. native GCP architecture, hybrid architecture including co-location of infrastructure at GCP, design and support the 'heritage' model where GCP us used as IAAS
• Define and own Architectural Decision Records (ADRs) for any infrastructure / PAAS work on the cloud and work with the central teams such as Cloud Design Authorities for their approval
• Work with application teams and legal teams to devise strategies for managing geographic constraints on data and services
• Understands the FinOps model for infrastructure (on premise as well as GCP) and help drive down the cost of infrastructure
• Work with CIO Teams to define infrastructure budgets for RFT
• Work with Finance and other central teams, along with application teams to ensure correct sizing of licenses
• Support decommissioning work by providing guidance on infrastructure
• Partner with Product, Engineering through the SAFE Agile PI Planning lifecycle events to ensure infrastructure requirements are fulfilled by the delivery teams
