As the Revenue Officer – Treasury and Debtors, you will support the effective delivery of Council’s treasury and debtor functions by maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and compliant processing of transactions. You will contribute to the integrity of Council’s financial systems through proactive issue identification, attention to detail and a strong commitment to customer service. The role also works collaboratively within the Revenue team to support operational outcomes and continuity across key financial processes.

Essential:
Certificate III in Financial Services / Accounting and/or relevant industry experience
Excellent customer service skills
Proven ability to relate to and deal with a diverse range of customers
Sound knowledge and application of the Microsoft Office suite of products
Excellent communication skills
Conflict resolution skills
Able to work in a team environment and contribute to the broader goals of the team.
Ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and act with probity at all times.
Desirable:
An understanding of the Local Governing financial environment
Use of Local Government financial software such as Civica Authority.
