Job Description
Stihl Shop Mt Maunganui is seeking a Retail Superstar.
We are a well established family owned business, our retail area is a central part of our business. Our success has come from being unashamedly customer experience focused and by providing an experience that is both memorable and recommendable. Through this, we have a vast, loyal range of both commercial and residential Customers.
We are a small but dynamic team, that has created an enthusiastic and energetic working environment. We care and invest in our people and support and encourage growth. We believe in honesty and attitude is everything.
This position is an integral part of our team. If successful, you will be offered training and will be working alongside well respected Technicians with over 55 years in the Industry. You will have an opportunity to extend your knowledge and learn all aspects of the business including stock control.
This role is 5 days on - 2 days off each week. 5 days on will always incorporate one of the weekend days. Please do not apply if this doesn't suit you.
Job Description
Your primary tasks will involve:
Day to day running of the retail area
Engage with Customers, understand their needs and provide expert advice on Outdoor Power Equipment
Drive sales by recommending suitable products and accessories
Deliver outstanding Customer service, building long lasting relationships
Booking in jobs and liaising with Customers
Maintain a tidy and organised store layout
Ensure price cards and product displays are accurate
Track stock movement
Conduct regular stock takes
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
Previous experience in Sales
Computer literate
Social media savvy
Passion for outdoor power equipment and tools
Excellent attention to detail and be well organised
Have excellent communication skills
Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and learning
Be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships
Be self motivated and trustworthy
Show initiative and good problem solving skills
Above all a positive attitude and work ethic
Strives to go the extra mile
Applicant must have NZ residency, current drivers license and no criminal record.
