CompoundRx Pharmacy is a family-owned compounding pharmacy located across from Baptist Hospital in Kendall, FL. We are looking for an experienced Retail Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for a pharmacy technician who enjoys helping patients, thrives in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, and wants to grow professionally. In addition to traditional retail pharmacy responsibilities, you'll have the unique opportunity to learn non-sterile compounding from an experienced team and expand your skillset beyond what most retail pharmacies offer.

Responsibilities
Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Assist pharmacists with prescription intake, payment processing, and patient communication
Answer incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Manage inventory, receive medication orders, and restock pharmacy supplies
Assist with prescription pick-up and coordinate local deliveries when needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace
Learn and assist with non-sterile compounding under the supervision of our pharmacists as training progresses
Support day-to-day pharmacy operations while delivering an outstanding patient experience
Qualifications
Bilingual; English and Spanish (required)
Current Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license (required)
Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred (2+ years)
Experience with pharmacy management software and insurance adjudication preferred
PTCB certification preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to high-quality patient care
