Job Overview:
The Restaurant/Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, managing staff, and contributing to the financial success of the outlet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food service or hospitality industry, with experience in leadership and managing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements. The role will be based in Delhi NCR.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff management, and customer service standards.
Ensure smooth execution of food service, hygiene, and safety protocols in line with company guidelines.
Team Management:
Lead, coach, and manage the performance of all restaurant staff, including training, scheduling, and motivation.
Foster a positive work environment, driving staff engagement and high levels of teamwork.
Customer Service:
Ensure a memorable guest experience by maintaining exceptional service standards and addressing customer concerns promptly.
Monitor and respond to customer feedback, both in-store and online, to improve service quality.
Financial Management:
Monitor and manage the restaurant’s financial performance, including preparing and analyzing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
Optimize operational efficiencies and costs, focusing on food, labor, and overhead expenses.
Achieve revenue goals and maintain cost control to ensure profitability.
Inventory and Vendor Management:
Maintain accurate inventory of food, beverages, and other supplies.
Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and quality control.
Regularly audit inventory levels to minimize waste and control food costs.
Marketing and Promotions:
Support marketing initiatives and promotions in collaboration with the marketing team to drive traffic and increase sales.
Build relationships with local communities and businesses to promote the restaurant.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure the restaurant operates in compliance with all health and safety regulations, local laws, and food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the restaurant at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
5-6 years of experience in the food service or hospitality industry, with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
Proven experience in managing restaurant operations, staff, and financials, including the ability to prepare and manage Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Passionate about customer service and able to resolve issues in a positive and professional manner.
Experience with inventory management, vendor relationships, and cost control.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory if experience requirements are met.
