Job Designation : Captain or Lead Server

Guest Service:

Provide excellent customer service to all guests, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly and courteously. Ensure a memorable dining experience for patrons.

Team Supervision: Oversee and direct the activities of the service staff, including waiters, servers, and other front-of-house employees. Schedule shifts and assign tasks effectively to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Table Management: Organize and coordinate table reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements to optimize restaurant capacity while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Order Handling: Assist in taking orders from guests, ensure accuracy, and communicate the order details to the kitchen staff promptly. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of food.

Up-selling and Specials: Promote daily specials, recommend dishes and beverages, and encourage upselling to increase revenue while understanding and respecting guests' preferences.

Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages served meet the restaurant's quality standards. Address any guest complaints or concerns professionally and resolve issues to their satisfaction.

Cleanliness and Setup: Supervise the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, utensils, and other equipment. Coordinate with support staff for proper setup and arrangement of tables.

Training and Development: Train new service staff on restaurant procedures, service standards, and etiquette. Continuously coach and mentor the team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards to provide a safe dining environment for both guests and staff.

Communication: Foster clear and effective communication with the kitchen staff, management, and fellow team members to ensure seamless service flow and address any operational challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
