The Respiratory Therapist will collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans, adjust treatments as needed, and utilize medical equipment efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Operate and manage a variety of medical equipment related to respiratory care.
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of respiratory therapy services.
• Work both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Licensing: Certification or licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (as required by local regulations).
• Experience: Prior experience in respiratory care, preferably in home healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment and respiratory therapy procedures.
