Responsibilities
Perform a variety of construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, roofing, flooring, tile laying, and finishing work.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned duties.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects.
Assist with concrete forming, finishing, masonry, stucco application, and masonry work.
Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, glass panels, trim carpentry elements, and hardware.
Conduct construction inspections to ensure quality standards are met and safety protocols are followed on-site.
Support heavy equipment operation and site preparation activities for efficient workflow.
Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to meet project timelines and specifications.
Requirements
Proven experience in residential or commercial construction environments with familiarity in blueprint reading and schematics.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication techniques.
Knowledge of various trades including plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, welding, and restoration work.
Ability to operate construction machinery safely and efficiently.
Strong understanding of construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus.
Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Valid experience in construction site safety practices; OSHA certification is preferred.
