Job Description
Job Summary:
• Key Responsibilities:
- Reservation Management:
- Process, confirm, and modify guest reservations accurately in the hotel’s reservation system.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, packages, and promotions.
- Guest Interaction:
- Provide information about the hotel, amenities, and services to potential and current guests.
- Address guest concerns, special requests, and preferences to ensure a personalized experience.
- Assist in upselling room types, packages, and additional services to maximize revenue.
- Coordination with Departments:
- Communicate reservation details and special requirements to the front desk and other departments.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams for group bookings and special events.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
- Records and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all reservations, cancellations, and no-shows.
- Prepare and share occupancy and revenue reports with management.
- Monitor and manage overbooking situations effectively.
- System Management:
- Update and manage inventory on online travel agencies (OTAs) and the hotel’s booking platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues with booking systems and escalate as needed.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure compliance with the hotel’s policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Protect guest confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred).
- Proven experience in reservations or front desk operations in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Amadeus, or similar.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
