Job Description
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of field sales personnel, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to company standards.
• Monitor and manage distributor networks, ensuring timely order fulfillment, stock availability, and compliance with pricing and promotional guidelines.
• Conduct regular field visits to retail outlets to assess product placement, shelf availability, promotional execution, and competitive positioning.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities, address underperformance, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of promotional campaigns, new product launches, and inventory replenishment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales performance, customer feedback, and market intelligence.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory compliance across all operations.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key retail accounts, distributors, and regional stakeholders to drive long-term business growth.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 2–5 years of progressive experience in sales management within the FMCG, food, or beverage industry.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing field teams.
• Strong knowledge of retail distribution networks, supply chain logistics, and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with proficiency in MS Excel and CRM tools.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Delhi region and work flexible hours, including weekends, during peak sales periods.
