Reporting Specialist, Digital Marketing
Job Description
As a hands-on MarCom Reporting Specialist in the Martech, Enablement, and Optimization team at WSP, you will play a crucial role in collecting marketing and communications data, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the maintenance of the Google Marketing platform stack. Your responsibilities will include:
- **Data, Tagging & Governance:**
- Execute updates in GA4 and Google Tag Manager, ensuring correct firing of tags, triggers, and events with consent-aware configurations.
- Apply standardized tracking plans across digital campaigns for data consistency.
- Perform data QA and debugging to identify and fix tracking breaks.
- Assist in maintaining documentation for tagging standards and change controls.
- Support the setup of data pipelines and consolidate data from various sources.
- **Reporting, Dashboarding & Insights:**
- Assist in building and maintaining operational dashboards in platforms like Looker Studio or Power BI.
- Collaborate on recurring performance reports and ensure standard metric definitions are applied consistently.
- Compile and organize data to help develop performance narratives and provide actionable recommendations.
- Conduct data lookups to identify trends for stakeholders.
- **Support and Collaboration:**
- Work with colleagues to ensure data is correctly connected to reporting tools.
- Help maintain 'Source of Truth' records and keep the reporting environment organized.
- Assist in creating 'How-to' guides for team tasks and reporting processes.
• *What you'll bring:**
• Education and Technical Experience:*
- 2+ years in data, analytics, or reporting roles.
- Hands-on experience in GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio.
- Ability to create clear documentation for non-technical users.
• Soft Skills:*
- Able to communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- High attention to detail and excellent organization.
- Collaborative mindset and proactive approach.
• *Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
- Experience with Python, R, SQL, JavaScript, ETL/ELT tooling, and ad tech platforms.
- Familiarity with REST APIs for data retrieval.
