Key Responsibilities
• Drive new and renewal business to achieve production and market objectives independently.
• Engage in negotiations with underwriters concerning terms, pricing, deductibles, enhancements, and exclusions.
• Identify and select suitable carriers for account submissions.
• Manage the quoting process for new business, renewals, and endorsements; ensure efficient handling of all company correspondence.
• Oversee new business procedures, including application transfers, binder issuance, invoicing, and policy coverage verification.
• Facilitate renewal business activities by locating files, preparing communication, binding, and invoicing, while ensuring policy coverage accuracy.
• Process requests for cancellations and endorsements effectively.
• Provide guidance and assistance to team members as necessary.
• Manage incoming communications from producers and companies.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with agents and colleagues.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and sales tactics through workshops, seminars, and continuous education.
• Execute additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Required Skills
• 3-5 years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
• Proven success in account management and marketing ventures.
• Current Property & Casualty (P&C) License is mandatory.
• Ability to operate independently, exercising sound judgment and effective time management with minimal oversight.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation capabilities.
• Strong aptitude in sales, customer relations, and team collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and various standard computer applications.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight assignments.

Qualifications
• A robust background of 3-5 years in property and casualty insurance.
• Demonstrable experience in account management and marketing roles.
