About the Role

Join Asahi Beverages as a Regulatory Specialist on 2 years fixed term contract and support the delivery of a major labelling project across our Australian ******* portfolio, New Zealand business, and Craft Ventures brands. Reporting to the Senior Regulatory Specialist, you'll help ensure product information and packaging comply with regulatory requirements while supporting the successful rollout of this important initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Apply the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code and relevant food legislation to product information, labelling, and claims
Review and maintain product specifications and technical information
Update and manage product data within Hamilton Grant and related systems
Review artwork briefs and approve packaging artwork from a regulatory perspective
Support implementation of energy labelling requirements across multiple portfolios
Assist with regulatory risk assessments and compliance decision-making
Support product information clean-up activities, including claims reviews and regulatory updates
Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to deliver project milestones successfully
Contribute to the timely rollout of regulatory changes across the portfolio

About You

We're looking for a proactive and organised regulatory professional who enjoys managing detail while building strong relationships across the business.

Degree qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
Strong working knowledge of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code
Experience in Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, or a related discipline
Experience using Hamilton Grant or similar technical database systems
Ability to interpret and apply legislation within a commercial environment
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong prioritisation and organisational capability
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
