Job Description:
Reliance Retail is looking for a qualified and experienced Registered Pharmacist to join our team in Chennai. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications, maintaining pharmacy inventory, and providing top-notch customer service. Your role will also involve overseeing regulatory compliance, increasing over-the-counter (OTC) drug sales, and maintaining records of purchases and sales.

Responsibilities:
• Check and verify prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient pharmacies at Reliance Retail.
• Dispense medications accurately and ensure zero medication errors while handling prescriptions.
• Regularly check the expiry dates of medicines and return near-expiry stock to vendors.
• Maintain records of all drug purchases and sales in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure that the pharmacy inventory is well-maintained, conduct stock checks, and replenish as needed.
• Increase OTC (Over-the-Counter) drug sales by building customer relationships and offering product recommendations.
• Handle customer queries related to medications, providing accurate information and advice.
• Maintain accurate records in the cash register, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy operations.
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a smooth pharmacy workflow and improve overall store performance.
Requirements:
• D.Pharmacy with a minimum of 3 years of experience (after registration) or B.Pharmacy with at least 1 year of experience (after registration). M.Pharmacy freshers are also welcome to apply.
• Valid pharmacy license and registration to practice as a pharmacist in India.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, drug therapies, and regulatory laws.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications for managing inventory and records.
• Knowledge of SAP software is preferred for efficient stock management.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle queries and build customer relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage medication inventory and records.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members at Reliance Retail.
