Job Description
Job Summary:
The Computer Lab Assistant shall support the effective functioning of computer laboratories by maintaining hardware, software, and networking resources while assisting faculty and students during laboratory sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain computer laboratories and peripheral devices.
Install, configure, and update software applications.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Assist faculty during practical classes and examinations.
Maintain laboratory inventory and equipment records.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of laboratory facilities.
Coordinate preventive maintenance of systems.
Report technical issues requiring external support.
Qualifications:
Diploma/BCA/B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) or equivalent with 1–3 years of relevant experience in computer laboratory management or IT support.
