Iceavik Nordic Wellness Spa is preparing to open Newfoundland & Labrador’s first Nordic wellness destination. Iceavik will offer a unique and luxurious experience that combines advanced wellness treatments with elements of Nordic tradition and design. We are seeking passionate, client-focused Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) to join our team and deliver exceptional therapeutic and relaxation massage experiences in a premium Nordic spa environment.
As an RMT at Iceavik, you'll have the opportunity to provide evidence-informed therapeutic care while helping guests reconnect with their health and well-being in a tranquil, nature-inspired setting.
Key Responsibilities
-Deliver exceptional esthetic services including facials, body treatments, waxing, tinting, and other spa services within your certification and scope of practice
-Conduct thorough client consultations and recommend treatments based on individual skin concerns and wellness goals
-Educate guests on home skincare routines and recommend professional retail products
-Maintain treatment rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation
-Ensure all equipment and treatment areas meet health and safety standards
-Maintain accurate and confidential client treatment records
-Build lasting guest relationships through exceptional service and personalized care
-Collaborate with the Spa Manager and Guest Experience team to create memorable guest -experiences
Participate in ongoing product knowledge and professional development training
-Support the pre-opening launch and ongoing growth of the spa
Qualifications & Experience
-Registered and in good standing (or eligible for registration) with the College of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland & Labrador (CMTNL), as required for practice in the province.
-Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
-Passion for wellness, hospitality, and delivering exceptional client care
-Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
-Experience in a luxury spa, wellness resort, or hospitality environment is considered an asset
