Job Description
Job Title- Regional Credit Manager
Location- Mumbai
Exp- 5-7 years
Primary Skills : Underwriting of Home Loan , LAP , Secured Loan
• Position Purpose
Responsible for business and portfolio performance for the region for affordable & Prime home loans.
Also to ensure policies related to Credit Policy and TAT are adhered . He/She is also responsible for
monitoring the portfolio quality in the region.
Functional responsibilities include following :
Adherence to Credit policy with efficiency, accuracy and service standards for the business
Ensure TAT Targets are met
Co-ordinating with Legal & Technical Vendors
Coordinates with different business/functions to ensure training on applicable norms.
Compliance of Audit observations.
Good Knowledge of Team handling and multiple branches handling Experience
Sr. Key Responsibilities
1 Co-partner with business team to achieve projected business targets.
2 Lead a team of credit approvers to ensure building quality portfolio and manage delinquencies.
3 Setting up & monitoring process related to vendor management, PDD management, credit
staffing, security creation etc for the region
4 Good Knowledge of Team handling and multiple branches handling Experience
6 Ensure that agreed turnaround times are honoured for all applications.
7 Track deviations and any correlation between deviations and delinquencies
8 Monitoring of the portfolio, analysis of delinquent cases, profiling of customers, data cuts and
highlight any early warning signals
+ Liaison with other industry players including financiers, legal vendors, technical vendors etc to
understand the market behaviour.
10 Coordination with external agencies (Legal & technical Agency).
11 Collection of Early delinquent cases, in co-ordination with Sales team.
12 Arrange training of Credit Manager / RO / BM on credit scrutiny, latest changes in KYC/other
regulatory requirements, process adherence etc.,
13 Ensure Audit compliance in the region.
Experience of home loan / LAP is must.
