Job Overview
AIM Athletics is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to lead our Recreational Gymnastics Program while also coaching our Developmental Team and Pre-Team athletes.
This leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about athlete development, coach mentorship, and building a strong, high-quality recreational program. The Program Director will oversee all aspects of the recreational program, manage a team of assistant coaches, and help guide athletes from their first class through the competitive pathway.
Responsibilities
Oversee all operations of the Recreational Gymnastics Program• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and mentor assistant recreational coaches• Provide instruction and ensure consistent, high-quality coaching across all classes• Coach Developmental Team and Pre-Team athletes• Develop curriculum and structured lesson plans for recreational classes• Observe and evaluate classes to maintain coaching standards and athlete safety• Assess athletes for advancement into Developmental Team, Pre-Team, and Competitive Team programs• Build strong, positive relationships with athletes and families• Plan and oversee camps, clinics, exhibitions, and special events• Collaborate with ownership and competitive staff to ensure a smooth transition into team programs
Qualifications
Previous gymnastics coaching experience required• Leadership or program management experience preferred but not required• Experience hiring, training, and mentoring coaches is a plus• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills• Positive, professional, and self-motivated attitude• USA Gymnastics Professional Membership and required certifications (or willingness to obtain)
