Our small but growing Accounting/Tax office needs a reliable, organized part-time/full time Receptionist. Salary commensurate with experience.

No smoking is not allowed on site or at the workplace.

JOB SUMMARY–

The Receptionist will deliver an outstanding client experience by creating a warm and welcoming first and lasting impression that exceeds the unique needs and preferences of each client.

Will be responsible for welcoming clients, identifying and addressing the client’s need, and maintaining a pleasant and business-like atmosphere and attitude. The Receptionist will interact with clients in person or via telephone through inbound and outbound calls.

The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible, and excellent client-facing communication skills. We're looking for someone who can operate effectively with little or no supervision and who can manage multiple tasks at once without becoming overwhelmed.

Weekend (every other Saturday)work is required during tax season, plus two evenings.

Mid-January - April

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES–

Greet clients in a personalized, warm, friendly, and inviting manner by using proper phone and office protocol
Schedule clients the way they want to be scheduled
Manage client wait time expectations
Set clear expectations and explain drop-off procedure
Contribute to an office environment that promotes a positive client and associate experience
Light accounting/tax duties
Other duties, as assigned

Experience –MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Commitment to providing high level of client satisfaction

- Strong communications and interpersonal skills

- Enthusiastic and friendly disposition

- Professional and courteous telephone and face-to-face etiquette

- Tax Knowledge a plus

A MUST QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous experience as a Receptionist

- Attention to detail

- Strong computer skills and experience using Windows-based systems/applications
