Working in Northland’s Mental Health and Addictions Service, based in Whangārei
Permanent part-time role (0.9FTE) working 36 hours per week

About the Role

The role of Receptionist/Administration Support will see you provide client focused and culturally competent reception services to whaiora and their family/whānau. You will also ensure that the administration needs of the service are met and delivered professionally and effectively.

In return you will have the opportunity to work within a team who work closely together to create a supportive and recovery focused environment for whaiora and whānau.


About the Team/Service/Location

Work with the Raranga Tahi Home Based Treatment team, based in our recently refurbished Manaia House in the heart of Whangārei city. We are a service that is committed to ongoing professional and cultural development, quality improvement, staff wellbeing and working collaboratively across services.


About you

Our ideal candidates will have:

A background in administration with proven skills including medical typing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working within a clinical environment (with experience in Mental Health and/or Addictios being highly advantageous)
The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
An understanding of working in a multidisciplinary team
An ability to work bi-culturally and effectively engage with Maori.
Additionally, you will be committed to building effective working relationships with a wide range of people, including whaiora and whānau.
