Job Description

We have current job opportunity as a RECEIVER (7:00 am to 3:30 pm located in our Calgary distribution centre).
RECEIVER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Verifies and keeps records on incoming product.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages.
• Receives according to GMP standards
• Utilize proper techniques for lifting, packing, and handling heavy objects, proper cutting techniques, reaching and pushing/pulling
• Route items to proper departments.
• Operates reach truck or uses hand-truck to move shipments from shipping and receiving area to storage or work area.
• Perform stock counts as necessary
• Maintain proper housekeeping of warehouse area
• Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy or quality standards for work performed
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
