Job Description
Title - React Native Developer (Mobile Developer)
Location : Ahmedabad (Hybrid)
We are seeking a skilled senior mobile engineer to spearhead the development of a real-time mobile traffic safety application for our IntelliConnect platform. We are looking for an engineer with a passion for code craftsmanship who wants to create a great product for end clients using modern tooling and processes in a remote-first startup environment.
IntelliConnect is a comprehensive, customer-driven platform for next-generation roadway safety for government. It connects devices, detects roadway incidents, alerts stakeholders, and manages data and equipment. It consists of cloud, edge, and mobile components.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Develop a React Native mobile application for Android and iOS.
• Build out a modular mobile application architecture with a focus on reusability and quality.
• Work with location, geofence, accelerometer, gyroscope, and other mobile sensors/APIs.
• Use background data fetching/push notifications.
• Create graceful fallbacks for background and offline functionality.
• Interface with Go/C++ code for performant real-time data processing.
• Create audio-first alerts for application users.
• Communicate with a microservice-based backend using http, mqtt, websockets, and other real-time protocols.
• Work with connected vehicle data standards (SAE J2735).
• Optimize battery life.
• Work with designers to craft a great UI/UX.
Requirement:
• Experience creating cross-platform React Native applications.
• Experience working with mobile location data, background data fetching and processing, and mobile audio.
• Experience working with accelerometer, gyroscope, and other mobile sensor data.
• Strong Typescript/Javascript fundamentals.
• Familiarity with mqtt, websockets, and/or other real-time protocols.
• Comfortable with modular architecture and code reuse.
• Familiarity with e2e automated testing and continuous integration.
• Knowledge of the React Native Bridge.
• Passion for clear, commented code.
