Role Description The Radiologist at City Multicare will perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound, and other modalities as appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing imaging requests for clinical appropriateness, supervising imaging procedures, interpreting results, preparing clear and timely reports, and communicating significant findings to referring clinicians. The role involves collaborating closely with other medical professionals to support accurate diagnoses, treatment planning, and patient follow-up, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and radiation protection standards. The Radiologist will also participate in quality assurance activities, maintain detailed documentation, and support continuous improvement of imaging services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Champa.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Medicine with the ability to integrate clinical information into imaging interpretations.
• Demonstrated expertise in Radiology, including interpretation of common diagnostic imaging modalities.
• Competence in Nuclear Medicine for appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, where applicable.
• Proficiency in Medical Imaging technologies, workflows, and safety standards.
• Experience in Mammography, including screening and diagnostic breast imaging.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completed residency or specialist training in Radiology.
• Valid medical license and any required board certification or eligibility in Radiology as per local regulations.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and decision-making skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage a full-time clinical workload on-site.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, ongoing professional development, and use of evidence-based guidelines.
