Quality Specialist I A - GBS IND

As a Software Test Engineer at Bank of America, your primary responsibility is to test and deliver software solutions that align with business objectives. This role involves testing software to meet functional and non-functional requirements, creating manual and automated test cases, and executing test suites. You will be expected to document test results and assist in issue triage.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure thorough testing of component changes and integration/operations aspects
- Develop test conditions and scripts based on design specifications
- Verify system stability through functional, load, failover, and operational testing
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing
- Design and implement technical test approaches, load tests, failover/recoverability tests, and operational tests
- Document and execute test scripts, reporting progress accordingly
- Identify and escalate issues to the project management team
- Collaborate effectively in an agile environment
- Act as a quality gatekeeper for application releases

Qualifications Required:
- Education: BE/BTECH
- Certifications: None
- Experience: 2-5 years

Foundational Skills:
- Proficiency in Automation Testing using Selenium with Java
- Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills

Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with TOSCA, Java, Python, VBScript, and JIRA
- Experience with LoadRunner, SOA Tester, and Cucumber
- Excellent communication skills
