Your tasks
About the role The Quality, Risk and Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of Quality, Risk and Compliance systems for Rohde Schwarz Australia. Reporting to the Head of Quality, Risk and Compliance, the role is a key focal point for the day-to-day operational matters in relation to Quality, Risk and Compliance. The following duties include but not limited to, Quality management key responsibilities:
Facilitate the implementation and management of corporate governance directives, frameworks, policies, processes and practices.
Support the development, review and update of the local management system and drive the implementation of improvements.
Coordinate the planning, execution and follow-up of external assurance audits, keeping stakeholders informed about the progress.
Conduct the planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up on supplier assurance audits, ensuring that findings are tracked, addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Support the development of responses to external and internal non-conformances / improvements, oversee the implementation of actions, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
Track and monitor customer complaints, conduct reviews, perform analysis, report, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
Conduct, analyze, report, and follow up on customer surveys. Investigate and support the implementation of improvements as agreed by stakeholders.
Monitor, investigate, analyze, report, and follow up on product non-conformances. Ensuring closure of non-conformances in a timely manner.
Track, analyze, and report on quality centric KPIs and quality reports.
Support the certification and delivery of products to customers.
Review project documentation, conduct follow up and approve.
Support evaluation of new supplier approvals through reviews and assessments and ensure accurate records are maintained.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring that findings from reviews are considered and, where appropriate, incorporated into business processes and
d with project teams.
Provide support for reporting to senior management on the performance of the management system and any need for improvements or changes. Risk management key responsibilities:
Support the review and update of the corporate risk management process and drive the implementation of improvements.
Support corporate risk management reviews and facilitate updates to the risk inventory (risk register) as required. Compliance key responsibilities:
Ensure compliance to all company policies, processes and practices by providing support to the business on compliance matters.
Support internal and external compliance reporting.
Support the design, development and continuous improvement of processes, tools and systems.
Ensure the currency, accurate records and registers are maintained. General responsibilities:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in Quality Management, Risk Management and Compliance Management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of business processes throughout the organization.
Deliver training to staff on Quality, Risk and Compliance as required.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Quality, Risk and Compliance from time to time.

Your qualifications
Skills and experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge of industry-specific standards, relevant training or certifications will be advantageous.
Certified Lead Auditor - ability to plan, execute, and follow up on audit outcomes.
Mandatory experience with ISO +001 quality standard and relevant industry experience.
Defence Security Clearance preferred.
Essential, Highly skilled with Microsoft applications.
Desirable, knowledge and experience with ISO 17025 standard.
Desirable, Knowledge and experience with SAP.
Preferred relevant industry experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Test and Measurement related environment. Technical / Functional skills
Prior experience with management and maintenance of a Quality Management System.
Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy for reviewing documentation, tracking non-conformances and improvements.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to lead quality initiatives and influence others to maintain high quality standards.
