Role Overview
We are looking for a QMS Manager to establish, implement and continuously improve the Quality Management System for a high-volume semiconductor assembly and test manufacturing facility.
The role will own quality-system governance, audit readiness, document control, change management, CAPA and compliance with applicable semiconductor, automotive and customer-quality requirements. The position requires strong experience in semiconductor, electronics or other highly controlled manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement and maintain the site Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and applicable customer requirements.
• Establish quality policies, procedures, work instructions and governance mechanisms.
• Lead internal, external, customer, supplier and certification audits.
• Manage audit planning, execution, findings, corrective actions and closure.
• Own CAPA, non-conformance, deviation and recurrence-prevention processes.
• Establish and control document approval, revision, distribution and retention systems.
• Lead manufacturing, product, material and equipment change-control processes.
• Facilitate management reviews and present QMS performance, risks and improvement plans.
• Define and monitor quality KPIs, compliance dashboards and early-warning indicators.
• Drive PFMEA, control-plan, process-audit and risk-management deployment.
• Ensure effective implementation of 8D and root-cause-analysis methodologies.
• Partner with manufacturing, process, equipment, product, quality and reliability teams.
• Support new-product introduction and production ramp from a QMS and compliance perspective.
• Manage customer-specific requirements and maintain traceability to site procedures.
• Develop supplier-quality governance, audit and corrective-action processes.
• Coordinate quality-system training, awareness and competency development.
• Promote quality culture, disciplined execution and continuous improvement.
• Lead preparation for regulatory, certification and customer assessments.
• Ensure QMS effectiveness across 24 7 manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• 10 18 years of experience in quality systems, manufacturing quality or compliance.
• Minimum 4 6 years of experience managing QMS teams or site-level quality programs.
• Experience in semiconductor, ATMP, OSAT, electronics or another high-volume controlled manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality-system auditing.
• Experience with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 or automotive-quality requirements is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing CAPA, change control, document control and management reviews.
• Experience leading certification, customer and internal audits.
• Strong knowledge of risk-based quality management and statistical quality tools.
• Ability to work across global and cross-functional organizations.
