We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Production Incharge / Supervisor to oversee our chair manufacturing unit. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and shop-floor execution by utilizing your design software skills alongside hands-on floor management. You will manage the entire production cycle—from interpreting designs to supervising CNC/VMC machining, Press Operations, Powder Coating, Final Assembly, and Packaging. Key Responsibilities:- Design Interpretation & Execution: Read, interpret, and modify technical chair designs and fixture layouts using AutoCAD or SolidWorks to ensure accurate shop-floor production. Machining & Fabrication Oversight: Supervise daily operations in the CNC and VMC machining centers, ensuring correct programming, tool setups, and component precision. Press Shop & Fabrication: Manage sheet metal and tube bending press operations to maintain high-quality structural components for chair frames. Surface Treatment Management: Monitor the powder coating plant to ensure proper chemical pretreatment, uniform coating application, and defect-free baking. Assembly Line Management: Lead the assembly team to maintain a smooth, balanced workflow, ensuring chairs are put together efficiently and without defects. Packing & Dispatch Coordination: Enforce strict quality checks and secure packing standards to prevent transit scratches or damage before dispatch. Process Optimization: Reduce material wastage, minimize machine downtime, and ensure complete shop-floor safety and compliance. Qualifications and Skills:- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks for design review and layout verification. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of CNC/VMC machining, power press operations, powder coating processes, and high-volume assembly lines. Experience: 3 to 5+ years of supervisory experience in furniture, sheet metal fabrication, or automotive seating industries. Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering (preferred). Leadership: Strong floor management, team coordination, and quick problem-solving skills.
