Job Description
About the internship:
As a Python/ML Engineering Intern at Blocks.bio, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of biology and artificial intelligence. Utilizing your expertise in Python + Machine Learning you will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions for our bio-AI startup.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers and scientists to design and implement machine learning algorithms for analyzing biological data.
2. Develop and optimize Python code for data processing, model training, and deployment.
3. Work on improving and scaling existing ML models using PyTorch and NumPy.
4. Contribute to the development of APIs using FastAPI for seamless integration of ML models into our platform.
5. Research and implement new algorithms to enhance the performance and accuracy of our machine learning models.
6. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
7. Stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of machine learning and propose innovative solutions to address complex biological problems.
