Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Pump Truck Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty pump trucks to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites. Your expertise in driving and handling heavy lifting tasks will ensure smooth operations while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities
• Safely operate pump trucks to transport materials such as septic tanks, water, or other equipment to designated locations
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning
• Load and unload materials using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment, ensuring heavy lifting safety standards are met
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving between job sites
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each trip
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during operations
• Assist with routine maintenance checks on the pump truck to keep it in optimal condition
Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating heavy machinery or pump trucks is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift
