Job Description
Hospital Admissions Coordinator
Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital in Blackwood, NJ is seeking a detail oriented and compassionate Hospital Admissions Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for coordinating the intake process for patients, ensuring seamless transitions from admission to treatment, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and families. This full-time position on the 11pm-7am shift will include every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the admission process, including verifying patient information, medical record entry, insurance verifications
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely and accurate patient admissions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and databases
Identify and address any barriers to admission or treatment
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting (admissions exp preferred)
