Job description
Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for experienced individuals seeking to build a career in a fantastic working environment. Apply now to become an HGV Mechanic in our client's Falkirk-based team.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Pay rate: £16 per hour (overtime paid at time and one half, or double time)
Due to the nature of this role, the ideal HGV Mechanic will have multi-make and model experience in regular maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and service of HGV units along with trailers and, preferably, tankers (this is not essential).

• Overtime paid at premium rates
• Worksite is commutable by public transport if required (learn more by getting in touch with our consultants)

About Your New Engineering Role
You will either have experience working on PSV vehicles and/or HGV Vehicles. Not essential but ideally you will have a PSV driving license as well as experience working on a variety of commercial vehicles. To be considered It is desirable to have the following:
• City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence
• PSV Technician and workshop experience
The successful Specialist will receive.

• Ability to obtain new licenses.
