Full job description
Underwrite property insurance policies including CAR (Contractor's All Risk), EAR (Equipment All Risk), Fire, Building, Contents, and Machinery coverage
Develop and manage RFQs (Request for Quotes) with accurate premium calculations and risk assessment
Create and share Quality Check Reports (QCR) with RMs post-underwriting for policy review
Build and nurture relationships with PSU insurers.
Build and maintain relationships with private insurers
Prepare underwriting notes, risk assessments, and recommendation memos
Negotiate policy terms, coverage limits, and conditions with insurers
Handle policy renewals and post-placement follow-ups
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years property underwriting experience (insurance company or broker)
Expert knowledge of property insurance products:
CAR (Contractor's All Risk) insurance
EAR (Equipment All Risk) insurance
Fire insurance policies
Building, Contents, Plant & Machinery coverage
Proven connections with both PSU and private insurance companies
Proficiency in RFQ creation with premium calculations
QCR documentation and RM communication skills
Strong analytical & negotiation abilities
Knowledge of insurance regulations & compliance
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
