Job Description
Role Highlights
• Lead and manage key infrastructure and project finance mandates, covering acquisition, construction, and development-stage financing, with a focus on aviation, roads, and renewable energy projects.
• Drive lending and refinancing transactions, including coordination with financial institutions, preparation of term sheets, and drafting and negotiation of financing and security documentation.
• Structure transactions, manage legal due diligence, and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance across project milestones.
• Engage in strategic legal and commercial discussions with sponsors, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and take ownership of matter management, client communication, and overall deal delivery.
Ideal Candidate
• Associate (2+ years PQE): Experience in project finance and/or infrastructure transactions, with exposure to financing documentation and due diligence.
• Senior Associate (4–6 years PQE): Strong hands-on experience in project finance or infrastructure law, preferably with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 law firm, and the ability to independently manage transactions.
• Principal Associate (6+ / 7+ years PQE): Proven capability to lead complex project finance mandates, advise clients strategically, and supervise deal teams.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, client-handling, and transaction management skills.
• Commercially astute, proactive, and able to work independently on high-value, time-sensitive deals.
