We're Hiring | Project Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor (Building)
π Location: Odisha
π Project Duration: 37 Months
π° Salary: Negotiable
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor (Building) to join our project team for the execution of large-scale multistoried building projects in Odisha.
Eligibility Criteria
β’ Diploma in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
β’ 10β12 years of total professional experience.
β’ Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the execution, supervision, and design coordination of B1+B2+G+7 or higher residential, commercial, or institutional building projects.
β’ Experience in at least one (1) successfully completed similar project of B1+B2+G+7 configuration or higher.
β’ Strong knowledge of:
β’ Interpretation of Civil & Structural Drawings
β’ Quantity Estimation & BOQ Preparation
β’ Basic Cost Estimation
β’ Site Supervision
β’ Quality Control
β’ Familiarity with modern construction practices, building materials, and coordination with Architectural, Structural, and MEP teams.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
β’ Prepare quantity estimates, BOQs, and assist in cost estimation and project budgeting.
β’ Review civil and structural drawings and coordinate with design consultants for technical clarifications.
β’ Monitor site progress, quality, and compliance with project standards.
β’ Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project execution.
β’ Verify contractor measurements and work quantities for billing purposes.
β’ Maintain project records, measurement books, and progress reports.
β’ Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements throughout the project.
