Job Description
The Opportunity
This is where you step up as a Project Engineer. At Built, you’ll take ownership of key project packages, work on complex, high-profile builds and be trusted to drive outcomes from day one — backed by a team that supports you to grow quickly and deliver at a high standard.
As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects safely, on time and on budget — working closely with Project Managers, site teams and subcontractors to drive performance across every stage of delivery.
Manage key project packages from procurement through to delivery and close-out
Drive programme performance by identifying risks early and implementing practical solutions
Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure works are delivered to plan
Support cost control by managing variations, forecasting and reporting
Contribute to a strong site culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement
What We Are Looking For
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
Experience as a Project Engineer (or similar) within commercial construction
Strong understanding of project delivery, contracts and construction methodology
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in fast-paced environments
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication skills
