Project Architect | Healthcare | London
Job Description
Healthcare | London
We’re working with a well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy looking to appoint a Project Architect to join their growing healthcare team.
This is an opportunity to work on a high-quality, award-winning healthcare portfolio, delivering projects across NHS Trusts and private healthcare clients. The work spans acute, community, and mental health environments, alongside premium private clinics.
Projects range from smaller schemes up to £10m through to larger, complex healthcare programmes (£20m–£30m)—offering a strong mix of client exposure, delivery responsibility, and technical depth.
The Role
This is a well-rounded project role, combining design, technical delivery, and client-facing responsibility across all RIBA stages.
You’ll play a key part in leading projects from early brief through to completion, ensuring schemes are well-managed, technically robust, and delivered right first time.
There’s an initial focus on acute healthcare refurbishment projects, so strong technical understanding and confidence in later stages will be key.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead and contribute to healthcare projects across all RIBA stages
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
• Coordinate with in-house teams
• Attend site visits and project meetings across London and the South East
• Manage delivery to programme, budget, and quality targets
• Produce and oversee technical information in Revit
About You
• Qualified Architect (ARB/RIBA) or experienced Part II with strong delivery experience
• Background in healthcare or complex/regulated sectors preferred
• Strong technical capability, particularly in later RIBA stages
• Proficient in Revit
• Confident working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
Why Apply?
• Join a growing, specialist healthcare team within an established consultancy
• Work on meaningful, technically complex projects across public and private sectors
• Gain exposure across all project stages, from briefing to handover
• Collaborate closely with in-house engineers and specialists
• Clear progression within a supportive, ambitious environment
• Flexible / hybrid working and a genuinely positive team culture
The Practice
This is a London-based, Top 150 UK consultancy and Top 40 architecture practice, offering a fully integrated service across architecture, engineering, and consultancy.
Their work spans healthcare, residential, education, commercial, and community sectors, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, technical excellence, and delivery.
What’s on Offer
• Competitive salary
• Healthcare benefits
• Enhanced parental leave
• Cycle to Work scheme
• Gym discounts
• Hybrid / flexible working
• Clear career progression
• Supportive, collaborative team environment
