About the role:
We’re looking for Production Technicians to join our Freeze Drying team. This role operates on rotating morning and afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays, so flexibility across shifts is very important. You would also need to be available to work extra hours during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle medical tissue samples carefully and prepare them for freeze-drying
Load and unload samples from freeze-drying machines following instruction
Keep trays, equipment, and your workspace clean to maintain high hygiene standards
Follow safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
Work with your team to keep production running smoothly and support accurate records
Report any equipment or process issues and provide feedback to the team
What you’ll bring:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment in a similar role
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A reasonable level of physical fitness, including standing for parts of the day and lifting up to 25kg
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
