Leading, instructing, directing and controling the workers under your management to maximise their working efficiency, including performance monitoring as well as corrective activities to improve performance of all workers;
· assisting with all matters relating to human resources;
· Creating worker rosters to ensure the proper and efficient staffing of the factory;
· managing factory operations in a manner that maximises production and cost efficiency;
· Staff training and the communication of Company Policies;
· Interviewing and hiring of workers, performance management of workers and addressing disciplinary matters in accordance with company policy;
· Maintaining and promoting quality standards and on-time delivery outcomes;
· Maintaining and ensuring factory health and safety, factory hygiene/cleanliness including the cleaning of machines;
· Working co-operatively and in a team environment with your fellow managers to promote optimal outcomes for the business;
· Preparing and maintaining production figures and performance records;
· Developing and implementing improvement initiatives to advance the performance and reputation of the business;
· Working with maintenance teams to ensure that machines are made available for maintenance and repair. This includes giving access to machines for preventative maintenance.
· Bringing a “can do” attitude to each and every day – the day ends when the job is done;
· Implementing the directives given to you by the Directors of the Company;
· Communicating with management and reporting to the Directors;
