Production Designer / Art Department Head (Contract)
Skypeace Production is looking for an experienced Production Designer / Art Department Head to join our team on a contract basis for TV shows, films, commercials, and primarily music videos.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute the visual look of sets and filming locations.
Source, organize, and manage props, set dressing, and art department requirements.
Collaborate closely with the Director, Producer, and Production Manager to bring creative concepts to life.
Work efficiently within production schedules and budgets.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the film, television, or commercial production industry.
Strong knowledge of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, including roads, filming locations, and local resources.
Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and long production days.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to source materials, manage logistics, and lead the art department when required.
