About the Role
As a Product Research Analyst Intern, you will be the person who helps Axension AI understand its markets, its buyers, and its competitors deeply. You will conduct structured research across multiple enterprise verticals, generate insights that directly inform product and go to market decisions, and work closely with the founding team. This is not a passive role your findings will be read, used, and acted on.
Responsibilities
Research enterprise AI, SaaS, and workflow automation markets across multiple high stakes industry verticals
Identify market size, growth trends, and whitespace opportunities within each target vertical
Monitor and track competitors products, pricing, messaging, positioning, and go to market moves
Build and maintain Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and detailed buyer personas for each sector
Conduct primary research through outreach, interviews, and surveys with enterprise buyers and decision-makers
Analyze industry pain points and map how Axension AI's solutions address them
Assist in crafting product positioning statements and value proposition frameworks
Research enterprise SaaS pricing models and benchmark Axension AI's positioning in the market
Track key market signals and prepare clear, structured insights reports for leadership
Support go to market planning for new vertical entries and product feature launches
Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value language for enterprise buyers
Collaborate with product, sales, and content teams to ensure research insights are applied effectively
What We Are Looking For
Strong analytical mindset you draw conclusions from data, not just describe it
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a fast moving startup environment
Commercially minded you think in terms of markets, buyers, and business outcomes
Genuinely curious about AI, enterprise technology, and how large industries operate
Prior exposure to market research, business analysis, or consulting is a plus not required

Note
This is a remote role with INR 3,000/- stipend each month for initial four months. Good performing candidates will be offered a paid full time position after successful completion of four months internship and the pay would be revised upwards.
