Job Description
Role/ Job Title: Product Owner-GenAI & New RM Tech
Business: Retail Banking
Function/ Department: Retail Liabilities
Place of Work: Mumbai
Job Purpose:
In next few years, we want to grow our liabilities book by at least 4-5x. In line with overall strategy of the bank, we will build and scale up truly transformational digital, analytics and organizational capabilities which will enable us to acquire high quality customer base and then build deep banking relationship with them to drive this growth. Our intent is to go to market and differentiate our product in the market on the back of the experience and engagement delivered through this channel for our customers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
'1. Consistently analyze competitors and global industry leaders & fintechs to develop deep understanding of latest innovations, digital disruptions and new & upcoming trends
Stay up-to-date with the activities of competitors, industry leaders, and fintech companies through research, market analysis, and attending relevant conferences or events
Analyze and evaluate the impact of emerging technologies and trends on the banking industry, particularly in the realm of customer engagement and digital channels
Develop deep understanding of latest innovations and disruptions and incorporate the same in the product strategy and roadmap e.g. gen AI
2. Assess trends and customer behavior using web analytics to identify, analyze and implement new innovations
Utilize web analytics tools and data to analyze customer behavior, preferences, and usage patterns across engagement channels
Identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and optimization based on customer insights and feedback
Collaborate with analytics teams to derive actionable insights and make data-driven decisions regarding new features, enhancements, and optimizations
3. Contextualize the market trends and new/ upcoming technology to define the products and tools for the bank
Contextualize market trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for new products and tools that align with the bank's goals
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business units and technology teams, to define the product vision, strategy and roadmap
Translate market trends and technology advancements into actionable product features, enhancements, and initiatives
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely development of the product
4. Co-own product builds and implementation, collaborating with internal teams including technology & IT, analytics, marketing, other BUs.
