Primary responsibility of the Procurement Representative is to provide effective leadership and management of Procurement capability for the UH-60M program from inception through to completion, either individually in a specialist role. Contribute to and undertake UH-60M sourcing activities including reviewing of specifications, work statements, as well as RFQ and evaluation of proposals.

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead procurement of Aeronautical products for inventory to support UH-60M maintenance and supply support activities
Undertake the procurement of technical consumables, PPE and Tooling
Provide a high level of support to managers and other staff members within the program as required, in line with established work procedures and guidelines
Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues and maintain supply performance
Expediate purchase orders and maintain forecast delivery dates within systems
Lead supplier due diligence and onboarding as required
Ensure Aeronautical product traceability and quality requirements are adhered to throughout the procurement process
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement
About you:

Demonstrated procurement experience, preferably within a high risk environment (such as Aerospace and Defence)
Proficient user of desktop applications, including P2P systems
Strong customer partnering focus
Excellent ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs and priorities
Desirable

Qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education, including professional experience.
Knowledge of Workbench (Procurement), SAP4HANA and Microsoft Dynamics
Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
