South Coast Baptist College (SCBC) is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Relief Primary Teachers to join our growing Primary School team.

About the role

Relief Primary Teachers play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning while creating engaging and positive classroom experiences for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.


Working within a collaborative and supportive Primary School team, you will deliver quality learning experiences, foster positive relationships, and contribute to a learning environment where students are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.


This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching practice, gain exposure to a variety of year levels, and become part of a College community that is passionate about Christian education.

Essential requirements

Hold, or be eligible to hold, registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be eligible for a Limited Authority to Teach (LAT)
A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ
Active participation in a church or Christian community, exemplifying Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices
Acceptance of the College's Statement of Faith
Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with staff, students, and families
Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in line with the College's values and policies
Commitment to professional growth and personal best practice
Required clearances and certifications

Working With Children Check
National Police Clearance
First Aid Certificate
