Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Homeroom Teacher for Grade 1/2 who can create an engaging, nurturing, and academically stimulating environment for young learners. The teacher will be responsible for the holistic development of students, including academics, values, and life skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver structured lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
• Teach core subjects (English, Math, EVS, etc.) while integrating creative teaching methods.
• Foster reading, writing, comprehension, and communication skills.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports student learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and periodic evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and share feedback with parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, training, and school activities.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, discipline, and social responsibility in students.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of child pedagogy.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate young learners with innovative methods.
• Empathy, patience, and a child-centric approach to teaching.
• Proficiency in English (oral & written) and basic technology usage for teaching aids.
